Huntly Castle Caravan Park

The award-winning Huntly Castle Caravan Park is situated in a pretty meadow within 15 beautifully landscaped acres, right in the heart of the Grampian countryside. Close to the River Deveron and just a five-minute walk from the many shops and attractions of Huntly's town centre, this dog- and family-friendly park includes four touring areas with 90 level pitches, many of which are hard-standing. There are also some fully serviced super pitches, with individual water, drainage and electricity hook up points.

The highly equipped toilet/shower blocks include private washing and family shower cubicles and the park is of course fully accessible for disabled guests.

Motorhomes, touring caravans and tents are all welcome. There is also a selection of caravan holiday homes available for hire, which have double glazing and central heating. They have decking and patio furniture, allowing you to sit outside enjoying the outdoor life and picturesque views. Each holiday home has been awarded Visit Scotland's Thistle award, celebrating excellent tourism destinations.

From picnic and barbeque areas, to an indoor children's adventure centre, Huntly Castle Caravan Park has everything you could possibly want in a holiday location, whether the sun shines or not.

Nearby castle and whisky trails, gorgeous local walks - not to mention 15 golf courses within a half-hour drive - all make the park an ideal base from which to explore the area. Other attractions include swimming, cross country skiing, pony trekking, mountain bike hire and a falconry centre.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS:

Huntly Castle Caravan Park's location in Scotland's north east corner makes it a great spot for exploring the castle trail, which features many magnificent castles and mansions. Indeed, Huntly Castle itself boasts an impressive façade and a fascinating history.

The malt whisky trail is also easily accessible, leading to several distilleries that produce some of Scotland's finest single malts. The rivers Deveron and Bogie provide great spots for fisherman, while the River Spey, which is renowned for salmon fishing, is also close by.

Huntly is home to the famous Dean's shortbread factory too, and at the Visitor Centre you can spend time in the viewing gallery, watching staff work their magic in the bakery. There is also a café and bistro.
