Port Ban Holiday Park

On the West Coast of the Knapdale/Kintyre peninsula, Port Ban Holiday Park is situated in a nice peaceful location that is mostly bypassed by tourists who usually follow the main route north to Oban.

The park has areas for camping, touring and static caravans. Each pitch is nestled between hill and shore with beautiful views across the Sound to the Paps of Jura.

Port Ban Holiday Park features a range of facilities on-site so that guests can choose to spend their entire holiday without leaving the park.

Children can explore the sand and pebbly beach with its rock pools, a burn for building dams and children's play park that includes chutes, slides and swings.

Port Ban has a high percentage of visitors who return year after year, showing that the park has a history of satisfying customers. Many even end up buying Caravans on the site.

GLAMPING

Port Ban Holiday Park now has two new Hexilodges - each lodge can sleep 2 adults and 1 child or 2 adults & two small children. The Lodges both have a Double Bed (extra camp beds can be supplied on request), Kettle, Toaster, Cutlery, Heater and Power sockets for charging phones etc.

DIRECTIONS:

From Glasgow Airport join the M8 and head west. Come off M8 at signs for Erskine Bridge; go over bridge, stay in left lane (indicating A82 Crianlarich), and head west onto A82 signposted Campbeltown. At Tarbet Loch Lomond, the road becomes the A83 as you pass the Tarbet Hotel on your right. Continue on, through Arrochar, Inveraray onto Lochgilphead, where you turn left sign posted Campbeltown. Pass through Ardrishaig then take the right turn signposted 'Kilberry.' This takes you onto the single track B8024 road. Travel a further fifteen miles and Port Bàn is signposted on your right. The journey should take you between 2½ and 3 hours from Glasgow city centre. Have a safe journey.
