Mortonhall Caravan and Camping Park is set in 18th century landscaped grounds in Scotland's Historic Capital City of Edinburgh.

The park covers 200 acres and lies at the centre of a traditionally managed private country estate. Still it is set only a 15 minutes drive from the centre of Edinburgh. Those that are energetic can enjoy an hours' walk into the centre of Edinburgh. The park is also conveniently situated on the main bus route into the Edinburgh city centre.

There is so much to see and do in the Capital City that guests will have a wide variety of choice.

TOURING CARAVANS, MOTOR HOMES AND TENTS

Mortonhall Caravan and Camping Park offers a range of pitch types from fully-serviced hard standings to traditional grass pitches.

They have 4 different WC blocks that feature free hot water and a number of separate dish washing points.

There are specially adapted chemical disposal points for easy use by those with cassette type units that normally need lifting. The site also has RV chemical disposal points.

CARAVAN HOLIDAY HOMES FOR HIRE

Mortonhall Caravan and Camping Park has a caravan holiday home fleet that is kept up to date. They buy new holiday homes for the park every year.

Every caravan holiday home is fitted with extra insulation for winter use.

There is a 2 bedroom caravan holiday home with ramps and widened doors for wheelchair users.

WIGWAM GLAMPING

The site's wigwams are made from environmentally friendly and sustainable wood. They will sleep up to a family of 5 people. They can also provide a more tranquil and private stay for 2 people.

There are mattresses that rest on a single platform at the rear of each wigwam. People usually use wigwams as an alternative to tents. Guests should bring everything that they would normally bring if they were camping in a tent. This includes bed linen and sleeping bags. You can hire sleeping bags and pillows from the reception if you need them.

The wigwams have ventilation by way of the windows and ventilation panels. Each wigwam is equipped with heaters and a fridge.

Each wigwam is well-insulated and features free electric heaters.

They are located near the Courtyard WC Block and the food preparation area is opposite. The wigwams are also near to the Stable Bar if you find yourself in need of food and a drink.
