Heads of Ayr Caravan Park

5 miles South of Ayr and 2 miles North of the fishing village of Dunure on the A719 in the heart of Burns Country, Heads of Ayr Caravan Park is a great holiday location. The Semple family has owned the park for over 42 years and aims to provide families and small parties an enjoyable and relaxing holiday in a scenic area.

Heads of Ayr Caravan Park has 126 static caravans on-site, most of which are owned privately. There is area for 36 tourers (both seasonal and holiday) as well as tents. Every pitch has electric hook-ups and they are mainly located on grassy areas. There are also a small number of static caravans that you can hire out for holidays. There is even a chalet bungalow.

There is also a Luxury self-catering flat with spectacular views of Arran and Carrick Hills, furnished to a high specification throughout.

Heads of Ayr Caravan Park is open straight through March and October. It is only open on weekends during the winter, except for 2 weeks at Christmas and New Year. You can only hire caravans from March to October.

CARAVANS FOR HIRE

The caravan hire fleet consists of vans no older than 2 years. They are luxury fully serviced models and include a microwave, colour TV/DVD, fridge and everything necessary for a comfortable self catering holiday. Bed linen is included.

CARAVANS FOR SALE

Heads of Ayr Caravan Park have a wide range of new and second hand caravans for sale from £5,000 upwards (subject to availability). To own a holiday home site fees are paid annually in return for the plot on which your caravan is sited and helps with the general maintenance of the park

SEASONAL TOURING PITCHES

Heads of Ayr Caravan Park caters for 12 seasonal tourers, where you can leave your caravan from the 1st of March until the same time the following year. An annual fee is paid for the pitch at the beginning of March, which includes a 10 amp electric supply.

TOURING AND CAMPING

Overnight/holiday pitches are available for touring vans and motor homes all with electric hook up available.

Tents seem to be the new holiday accessory and we allow tents on the park. Price is dependant on size of tent and number of occupants.
