Crossburn Caravan Park

Crossburn Caravan Park is a secluded and friendly caravan park on the edge of the charming country town of Peebles. The site is very much in harmony with its natural surroundings.

They feature 50 touring pitches, 28 that are hard standing and 8 that are fully-serviced. They have a sheltered area set aside for tents. Facilities include a heated toilet block that offers baby changing facilities, disabled facilities and laundry. There is dishwashing, a vegetable preparation area and a chemical disposal point located there as well.

A small kitchen area is available for campers. There is a children's play area and a recreation room. Along the banks of the Edderston Water there is a short dog walk.

Touring caravans, motor homes and tents are welcome at Crossburn Caravan Park from the 1st March until the end of November. Crossburn can accommodate club rallies. The recreational room can be used on these occasions as a small function room.

Crossburn Caravan Park has an on-site shop that offers a large selection of caravan and camping accessories.  There is also a selection of good quality pre-owned tourers for sale. Crossburn's workshop undertakes insurance and general repairs as well as preparing sales caravans and also servicing of tourers, motorhomes, trailers and even horse boxes.

Crossburn's surroundings are what really make the park great. The soft and rolling landscape of the Scottish borders is a really beautiful part of the world that has numerous attractions. There are more historic homes per square mile than anywhere in the UK in the area. There are ancient abbeys nearby. Finding your way to these places is half of the pleasure.

The landscape of the area is simply made for walking, horse riding and cycling. Mountain bikers will enjoy the exciting forest trails at Glentress as well as the championship downhill racing events that take place regularly at nearby Innerleithen.

Within easy reach is a selection of established and new golf courses. Crossburn Caravan Park is within a 45 minutes' drive of Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city, which offers many cosmopolitan attractions.

LEISURE TIME LODGES

Now available are our Leisure Time Lodges which contain a small fridge, microwave and kettle, everything else you must bring with you. Each lodge has electric light and heating. Full use of the amenities block for showers/toilet, dish washing facilities is included in the price. Maximum of 4 persons per lodge.

There is bike storage and the facility to clean bikes, vehicle access and parking beside each Lodge.
