Brighouse Bay Holiday Park is an all year pet-friendly holiday park with a country park feel for family caravan, glamping and touring holidays by the beach in south west Scotland.

The park is alongside a long sandy bay in acres of farmland with a pretty coastline you’re free to explore. There are coastal and nature walks, fishing off the rocks, rich wildlife, birdsong and lots more.

There’s an outdoor bowling green, pitch ‘n’ putt, children’s play parks and a slipway launch to catch any tide in the bay.

For the more adventurous there are mountain bike trails to test your skills.  Just bring along your own bike and helmet and enjoy!

Brighouse Bay Holiday Park also  have holiday homes to buy and hire, some with a hot tub, some with a sea view, a farm cottage and spacious touring and tent pitches.

TOURING AND CAMPING

Brighouse Bay Holiday Park has both hardstanding and grass pitches to offer. Some are pitch only, others come with electric, electric with TV hook-up and fully serviced with electric, TV hook up, drinking water tap and waste water hook up. Due to the rural location of Brighouse Bay and the surrounding hills mean we do not get a strong television signal.

The pitches are close to both our toilet blocks with laundry facilities and are within running distance of the children’s play park!

There are motorhome/tourer service points. Gas bottles of varying sizes are sold in the on-site licensed shop, as well as the essential newspapers, milk, rolls, sweets, groceries and gifts.

GLAMPING

Brighouse Bay Holiday Park has glamping cabins which are perfect for customers who want to camp but without the hassle of bringing a tent.  The cabins are situated near one of the fishing ponds, providing an idyllic and peaceful view.

Each cabin has a fridge, microwave, kettle, lighting, heating, foam mattresses sleeping up to four. Outside there is timber decking with outdoor furniture and parking.

The toilet block, laundry and children’s play area is a short walk away.

LODGES FOR HIRE AND SALE

The furnished wooden lodges provide a warm, spacious comfortable holiday home for all the family to enjoy.

There are two, three and four bedroom lodges each with a lovely cabin feel, double glazing and central heating. Several enjoy sea views and all are tucked away in a quiet corner of the park.

There are now available Lodges with the luxury of a Hot Tub.

HOLIDAY HOMES FOR SALE AND LET

Brighouse Bay Holiday Park has a real country park feel thanks to landscaping, mature trees, wildflowers, birdsong and lots of open space and nature.

The holiday homes are set in different sections of the park, each with its own unique feel (see website for further information).

OUT AND ABOUT

The popular Cream o’ Galloway about eight miles away has the killer combination of a childrens’ adventure playground and award-winning ice cream; the excellent Galloway Wildlife Conservation Park at Kirkcudbright (about seven miles) has a zoo, wildlife conservation centre , tearoom, shop, picnic areas, guided tours, pet-handling sessions. The Cocoabean Company’s Chocolate Factory, Twynholm is about eight miles away where kids make and decorate chocolate slabs, marshmallow treats and shaky shape animals to take home, and there are indoor and outdoor play areas, activities, cafe and shop.
