Sandyhills Bay Holiday Park

Sandyhills Bay Holiday Park sits at the foot of wooden hills and beside a sheltered golden sandy bay. The park is secluded and ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday beside the sea. It’s a place where you can do as much or as little as you like.

There are wooden pods for glamping, spacious touring and camping pitches and quality holiday home accommodation where you practically step out from your holiday home onto one of Galloway’s finest sandy beaches.

The park has a small shop selling the basic essentials along with the must have bucket and spade and a selection of ice-creams and cool drinks. A snack takeaway facility is also available selling hot drinks and a selection of rolls and panini’s to feed the stomach after a swim in the sea!

There is a heated toilet and shower block with hairdryers and a launderette complete with iron and iron board. For the kids there is an outdoor play area with a tree house for the children to roam and enjoy.

It’s a place where you can do as much or as little as you like.

TOURING AND CAMPING

Sandyhills Bay Holiday Park caters for motorhomes, tourers and campers. There is a large flat grass area for motorhomes and tourer caravans needing electric hook up and is situated in the middle of the statics. This area is walking distance to the beach or to the toilet block with its laundry and outside sheltered wash up area.

There is a lot of space for camping and there are a few pitches with electric hook up but these get booked up quickly in the high season. This area is near to the outdoor play area and nearer to the small shop which has the basic essentials including the necessary bucket and spade, ice-creams and cold drinks.

If you want something hot then the shop’s takeaway facility can provide you with a hot drink and snacks to enjoy. Or just sit and enjoy the scenery on our picnic tables.

GLAMPING PODS

Sandyhills Bay Holiday Park have Glamping Pods for those who want to go camping but without the hassle of bringing a tent. Two of the pods are pet friendly.

The pods have heating, lighting, foam mattresses, fridge, microwave, kettle, timber decking with outdoor furniture. All you need to bring is your camping essentials and food.

Minimum stay in the pods is of two nights. Please remember to bring your own bedding, towels and tea towels. No smoking is allowed.
