Set on the shores of the lovely Morecambe Bay, Morecambe Lodge Caravan Park is the perfect destination for those who are seeking a quiet retreat that is within an easy distance of a variety of attractions both locally and across the North West.

Morecambe Lodge Caravan Park has direct access to the beach through an international important SSSI and Ramsar salt marsh.

TOURING CARAVANS/MOTORHOMES

The site has 25 touring pitches. Each pitch is fully-serviced and hard standing and features a courtesy light. Morecambe Lodge Caravan Park is open from 1st March to 31st October every year.

You can accommodate your touring caravan and awning with Wi-Fi included for just £25 per night.

The site’s 4 new pitches have an electricity supply that is rated at 16 or 32 amps. The water pressure is reduced for direct connection.

Those who have suitably equipped caravans can put waste water and combined waste water pipes directly into the sewage system.

Morecambe Lodge Caravan Park’s touring area is virtually level and is mostly grass except for the roads and hard standings. The touring area is bounded to the southwest by a stand of pine trees and the gate onto the beach is about 150 m from the touring field entrance.

We offer 174 pitches that include full services. We are open from 1st March until 31st October every year.

Morecambe Lodge Caravan Park does not have an upper age for caravans on the park provided that they are looked after. The only limit they have is about selling a caravan. You can sell a caravan that is up to 15 years old.

Each caravan is flagged around and most have a patio. Other than that the park is mostly grass.

It is located in the West with great views Morecambe Bay and the Lake District with amazing sunsets.

Owners can walk straight onto the beach from the park through the farmyard shore gate.

There are 4 pubs, 3 restaurants and several takeaways and cafés within walking distance of the park. The historic city of Lancaster is 4 miles away, Morecambe is 3 miles away and Carnforth which is the site of Brief Encounter is 2 miles away.

It is a great base for exploring both the Lake District and the Dales. Golf lovers have several courses within an easy drive of the park.

You can go to the canal less than a mile away. You can hire boats in Carnforth. The park welcomes dogs as long as they are kept on leads and picked up after.

DIRECTIONS

3 miles north of Lancaster on A6, left at lights in Bolton Le Sands onto Coastal road, A5105, 200 yards turn right by first house, follow road for half a mile to park entrance near the beach.
