Set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in Lower Wensleydale, Akebar Park is a beautiful touring caravan, camping and holiday home park.

The site has no night clubs or fast food bars so prepare to leave your urban life behind. Akebar Park offers a natural environment of peace and tranquillity that has been greatly enriched by nature, history and ancient settlements.

You can enjoy the activities of fishing, walking, golf, petanque, croquet and boules as well as the site's traditional pub that is located at the entrance to the park.

The park welcomes tourers, trailer tents, motor homes and tents. Akebar Park is a 10 month holiday park that is open from the 1st of March until the 1st of January every year. The park costs the same rate all season except during Bank Holiday. During bank holidays the site operates with a minimum 3 night stay policy and during school holidays there is a 2 night minimum stay.

There are seasonal tourer pitches available.

CARAVAN AND CHALET SALES

Akebar Park has fabulous holiday homes and chalets for sale throughout the year.

The site is open for 10 months of the year from March through to 1st January. This way the seasons can come and go as the please as well as holiday home owners.

Their holiday homes are well placed on premium pitches. They overlook the site's superb golf courses. They sometimes offer pre-owned holiday homes and chalets.
