Golden Square Caravan & Camping Park is a warm and sheltered site that features panoramic views across the farm, forest and moorland towards the heart of the North York Moors. Just 2 miles from the site is the bustling market town of Helmsley and 20 miles from the site is the historic city of York.

The park features 2 outdoor children’s play areas, 1 indoor play area, 2 luxury toilet blocks, disabled access, mini golf course, a football field and many more fun activities close by.

Golden Square Caravan & Camping Park offers a wide range of pitches including touring pitches and seasonal pitches. There are also "deluxe" all service pitches. These pitches, larger than normal, are individually fenced and provided with electricity, fresh water, waste water and chemical waste connections, hard standing and a grass patio with picnic tables.

Golden Square also have a storage compound and there are a wide variety of static homes for sale.

The Reception and Shop have been extended. A range of delicious home-baked bread and cakes, cooked meats, frozen produce and licensed drinks are all available. Milk, papers, caravan accessories, books and souvenirs are also available at the Shop.

DIRECTIONS:

FROM A1: Leave the A1(M) at junction 49 to join the A168 (signs for Teesside & A19). Take the SECOND sign for THIRSK (signs A170 and A19) to avoid the town centre. At the roundabout take the A19 south to YORK. After approximately 3 miles turn left signposted “Caravan Route to Helmsley”. At Coxwold turn LEFT for AMPLEFORTH. Immediately through Ampleforth, take the LEFT-HAND FORK for HELMSLEY (not the right hand fork for Oswaldkirk). Golden Square is approximately 1½ miles on your left.
