Woodovis Holiday Park is set in the lovely and peaceful surroundings of the Tamar Valley. The small, safe and tranquil 5 Star holiday park is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has been designated a World Heritage Site.

It is in an ideal location for exploring the West Country. There are a wide variety of things to do and places to see on your holiday no matter what your taste or what the weather brings. Woodovis Holiday Park is near Dartmoor National Park and close to Devon’s most spectacular beaches. Because Woodovis Park is situated slap bang in the middle of Devon & Cornwall, there are endless possibilities for day trips and sightseeing. Grand stately homes & castles and gardens are dotted all over Devon and Cornwall such as Cotehele House and Buckland Abbey, and there’s always the world famous Eden Project. There are some superb markets near Woodovis, so fill your shopping bag with the best artisinal produce and local crafts. There’s fun for all the family to such as zoos, theme parks, aquariums, farms, museums and even an old jail!

CAMPING AND TOURING

Woodovis Holiday Park offers spacious pitches for tents, trailer tents, caravans and motor homes. The site is split into 2 touring fields. The Top Field is near to the facilities and the children’s play area. The Tamar View Field has a more spacious feeling and backs onto the wooded dog exercise field.

We have a fabulous indoor 11 meter swimming pool.

LUXURY HOLIDAY HOMES

Woodovis Holiday Park’s luxury holiday homes are set in 3 quiet, secluded, wooded areas of the site. Each is fully-equipped with everything that guests could want. You can relax and enjoy your holiday in comfort. Woodovis Park has won the Rose Award, which is only given to parks that provide 1st class caravan holiday homes for hire.

They allow a maximum of 2 dogs in a majority of their holiday homes. They charge £40 per dog per week. They can also provide you with a cot or a highchair if needed.

GLAMPING

Leave the tent behind…Enjoy all the fun of camping without the packing up! If you love the idea of camping but understandably want to keep dry and cosy and away from those creepy crawlies, then our cute Camping Pods & Super Pods are the answer. They’re the ideal place to build your own warm, snugly nest. Bring all of your normal gear but when you arrive you just move in straightaway! No time lost erecting or packing away a wet tent!

WOODOVIS COTTAGE IS FOR HIRE. It is an attractively converted stable building that can sleep up to 3 people in 2 bedrooms. The upstairs features a bathroom with a bath, shower, WC and hand basin. It also has a large double bedroom that includes a king size bed and a single bedroom. On the first floor is the kitchen and dining area which is fully-equipped with an electric cooker, fridge, freezer and microwave. There is also an extremely comfortable lounge that features a TV, DVD, video, CD and Freeview player.
