Penrhyn Bay Caravan Park
Situated on the West Coast of Anglesey, Penrhyn Bay Caravan Park is set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasting direct access to a large sandy beach with stunning views over the Irish Sea, Penrhyn Bay is a unique and special place to enjoy your family holiday.
Penrhyn Bay Caravan Park welcomes guests in touring caravans, motorhomes, camper vans and tents. Fully serviced pitches with electric hook-ups, water and grey waste connections are available, as well as non-serviced pitches. Most pitches are on grass but there are some hardstanding pitches. There are also owner occupied Static Caravan Pitches.
Excellent facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, all weather tennis court, children's play area, football pitch, games room, small shop, Calor gas for sale. Free Wi-Fi on site which covers the whole park and individual lockers that allow guests to charge their mobile phones and tablets. There are also modern centrally heated washblocks with toilets, showers, facilities for the disabled, a launderette and washing up area.
The new and improved children’s play area has been a big hit with younger guests. The fantastic new fort is packed with exciting play features including a net ramp, spiral slide, bridges and tunnels.
We’ve also got swings, slides & springies guaranteed to keep the children active.
Perched right on the coast, if you're into watersports, there are a great many activities you could try on your holidays here on Anglesey. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing and much more. Penrhyn Bay Caravan Park also has its own private slipway for launching small craft. If you want to get active but stay on land you could play a round of golf, go horse riding, cycling, or climbing – and much more. Situated on the Welsh Coastal Path there are also plenty of great walks to do and you can bring the dog to this pet friendly park.
There are tons of interesting places to visit in North Wales. There is literally something for everyone to enjoy in the area. Anglesey has many ancient Celtic monuments, fine castles and stately homes to see. Visitors can see the castle in Beaumaris and the National Trust stately home of the Marques of Anglesey, Plas Newydd.
You'll want to explore the magnificent natural beauty of this area, so why not head to South Stack Lighthouse, South Stack Cliffs RSPB Reserve, or Holyhead Breakwater Country Park, while Holyhead Mountain is the island's highest point.
To keep the kids entertained there’s also The Anglesey Sea Zoo, Pili Palas Butterfly Kingdom and Greenwood Forest Park in the local area.
DIRECTIONS: Once on Anglesey follow the A55 towards Holyhead. Leave at Exit 3 signposted Y Fali/ Valley. At this roundabout follow sign for Valley. At Valley turn Right at the traffic lights – signposted Amlwch A5025. The road to Penrhyn is first on the left after the small village of Llanfachraeth. Follow signs from here and through the farm down to the Caravan Park.
