Newhaven Holiday Park caters for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes. It is located in a secluded dip in the hills and is prolifically planted with trees and shrubs in order to create a sheltered park.
The entire site is immaculately maintained to incredibly high standards from their spotless toilets to their neatly trimmed grass.
Newhaven Holiday Park features a shop that stocks a complete range of goods. They sell groceries, books, magazines, toys, souvenirs and fresh local dairy produce. They also sell a selection of caravan accessories and provide an exchange for both Calor and Camping Gas.
Dogs are welcome on the Park, however they must be kept on a lead. Facilities include 2 toilet blocks with free hot showers, deep sinks for clothes washing and outside sinks for pots. They also have a coin operated laundry and drying and ironing facilities.
There are 2 large play areas that feature swings and a climbing frame. There are seats placed around the site so you can sit and keep an eye on your children or just sit and watch the world go by.

Whether you are thinking of visiting the Derbyshire Peak District National Park for a long weekend, planning a weekly or fortnightly break, or you want to bring your caravan for the whole summer and visit as often as you wish, Newhaven Holiday Park have a selection of beautiful, tree-surrounded pitches to choose from.
STATIC HOLIDAY HOMES
The static caravan pitches are located within The Glade, High View and Meadow View areas of Newhaven. Buying a static caravan enables you to own a home from home in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this rural location as often as you want.
Both brand new as well as pre-owned statics, on lovely pitches, many with far-reaching views, are available for sale throughout the season.
If we do not have a suitable caravan currently available please contact us and we will keep you informed of future stock. All static caravans have mains water, drainage and electricity supply.
We have recently extended the static caravan season so you can now enjoy your bolthole for longer. Dates are now February 1st to November 30th.
OUT AND ABOUT
There are many activities and attractions to enjoy in Derbyshire. High Peak offers rock climbers, cavers and potholers many challenges. Derbyshire Dales is perfect for walkers, who can explore the rugged splendour of the moors.
There are interesting walks in the Tissington and High Peak trails where steam trains once travelled. The Cable Car at Matlock and the miniature world of Gulliver's Kingdom are great for children. You can also enjoy cycle hire, fishing, golf, sailing and pony and horse riding in the area.

• The Heights of Abraham – Matlock Bath (Distance: 10 miles)
Since first opening its gates to visitors in 1780’s the Heights of Abraham has become one of the Peak District’s most popular destinations.
• Mining Museum – Matlock (Distance: 10 miles)
On arrival collect your old penny to pay the conductor your tram fare, and receive a ticket you can use all day. Trams depart regularly from town end, calling at various stops along the mile long.
• Ecclesbourne Valley Railway – Wirksworth (Distance: 10 miles)
You are assured of a warm and friendly welcome when you travel on board one of our heritage trains between Duffield and Wirksworth.
• Chatsworth House, Farmyard & Playground (Distance: 12 miles)
Discover our working farmyard with animal handling and milking demonstrations, plus a woodland playground with a rope park and trampoline, slides, water and sand play.
• Crich Tram Village – Crich (Distance: 15 miles)

• Alton Towers – Staffordshire (Distance: 19 miles)
Home to Britain’s most loved theme park with great kids attractions; ground-breaking, white-knuckle roller coaster rides; special events and much, much more.
• Castleton Caverns (Distance: 20 miles)
There are four show caves open to the public in and around Castleton. These are Peak Cavern, Speedwell Cavern, Treak Cliff Cavern and Blue John Mine.
