Abersoch is only a 10 minute walk away from the site and during the summer there are many activities going on there. Their main beach is famous for its sands and it makes a great place to spend a lazy afternoon. You can also choose to go sailing or try any of the water sports offered there.

Visitors to Tyn-Y-Mur Touring and Camping can learn to wakeboard, surf, windsurf or take a fishing trip. You can even go see the seals basking in the sun on the rocks by the islands during low tide. There are some beautiful places to walk and cycle in the area. You can also choose to explore the area by horseback.

Abersoch and the Llyn Peninsula offer its visitors a huge choice of activities and places to visit....many of which are free.

There are several festivals and events that have proved very popular with visitors and locals alike.

DIRECTIONS

On entering Abersoch from Pwllheli on the A499, turn sharp right at Land and Sea Garage. Tyn-Y-Mur Touring and Camping Park is approximately half a mile on the left.
