Black Rock Sands Touring and Camping Park

Black Rock Sands Touring and Camping Park is a long established park covering around 12 acres. The dunes of Black Rock Sands behind which the park is set have been designated a site of Special Scientific Interest.

Black Rock Sands Touring and Camping Park has successfully retained the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award for their work in protecting the flora and fauna of the campsite as well as the rock face and immediate surrounding area.

There is a sprawling sandy beach adjacent to the park that is ideal for bathing, boating and water sports. One of the main features of the beach is its rock pools, in which children love to play. A popular option is to go Beachcast fishing at this location.

In the nearby village of Morfa Bychan there is an 18 hole golf course that allows casual day membership. The nearest town is Porthmadog where you can find pleasant shopping and recreational facilities.

Black Rock Sands Touring and Camping Park features modern heated and unmetered showers and toilets with free hot water. There are facilities for the disabled available. There is a coin operated laundrette and a children's play area that is very safe. Electric hook-ups are available.

DIRECTIONS

Having crossed the tollgate at Porthmadog, turn left at The Original Factory Shop in the High Street, and follow the main Morfa Bychan road to the end. At the beach entrance turn right to Black Rock Camping and Touring Park and Black Rock Cafe. If travelling from the A55 turn right at The Original Factory Shop.
