The Grange Touring Park

The Grange Touring Park is a level, grassy park that can be accessed by made up roads. They can accommodate 70 touring outfits or tents on their site which adjoins the grounds of the Grange Free House.

The park is conveniently situated as a touring centre for Great Yarmouth, the Norfolk Broads and the historic cathedral city of Norwich. They are just a five minutes' drive from Great Yarmouth at the junction of the A149 and B1159. Within 3 miles of the site are Ormesby and Filby Broads. Guests can enjoy such attractions as the Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, Caister Golf Course, Stockcar and Greyhound Stadium, the Racecourse and Caister Castle and Motor Museum.

The Grange Touring Park is located approximately 1 mile from the sea and The Grange's sister Park, Long Beach Caravan Park is just 4 miles away. Guests of The Grange are free to use Long Beach Caravan Park's wide sandy beach which has extensive sand dunes.

The facilities include: mains electricity to many of the pitches, a very high standard and modern fully-tiled toilet block, coin operated washing and drying machines, deep sinks and drainers, free hot showers, a closed room for mothers to change and bathe babies, a chemical toilet disposal point, all night lighting on-site, a payphone and swings for children on ground that has safety surfacing.

The site's Grange Free House itself is an 18th century building that has been completely refurbished. It now is fully-licensed and sells a wide range of beers and real ale. It has a children's room with amusements and a pets' corner that features goats, geese, rabbits, ducks and more. The bar usually has snacks available.
