The Green Caravan Park

The Green Caravan Park is set in the beautiful Onny valley between the Long Mynd and Stiperstones Hills in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The park covers 15 acres of land and is a haven of peace and tranquillity.

This sheltered and level site has the small, shallow River East Onny running through it.

The local area has a wide variety of attractions for guests to enjoy. Nearby is the festival town of Ludlow, the lovely Medieval town of Shrewsbury and the historic town of Ironbridge with it's famous bridge and the interesting Ironbridge Gorge museums.

Within easy reach of The Green Caravan Park are castles, working museums of industry and agriculture. There are many excellent walks in the area such as the Stiperstones with its rugged beauty, the Long Mynd with its stunning views and Offa's Dyke path where you can take a step back in time.

In the vicinity of The Green Caravan Park there are many country inns that serve delicious, home cooked food and traditional ales. Just a 2 minute walk from the site's entrance will take you to the family pub of The Inn on the Green.

The local area has quiet country lanes and scenic hills that naturally lend it to excellent walks. Guests will be able to spot an abundance of bird life.

The Green Caravan Park allows dogs but they must be kept on a lead at all times. They provide poop scoops and dog bins. They have a dog walking area on the site so that you can exercise your dog.

The park is conveniently situated near Shrewsbury and Ludlow and it is central for touring either the countryside or the coast. You are sure to have a great break or holiday at the site.

They have electric hook-ups for pitches on the site. They have shower blocks that feature hot showers, flush toilets, hot water to all hand basins, electric shaver points, a laundrette, hair dryers, a chemical disposal point. There is a shop on-site where guests can get Calor gas. There are also play areas for children.
