OUT AND ABOUT
Transport links are good with local buses to Skegness and Chapel St Leonards - which is walkable.
Those keen on fishing will enjoy the fishing lakes next to the site. There is also plenty to do in Skegness. Why not see a show at the Embassy Theatre? Or, if you're with children Fantasy Island amusement park or Natureland Seal Sanctuary are great days out.
Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is a must see. From the hills of the Wolds you can see the Pennines to the west and great views of the coast to the east. The area is rich with history and inspired Alfred, Lord Tennyson a poet that was born in the heart of the Wolds in the village of Somersby.
There is plenty going on in the surrounding area, just 20 miles north of Eastview Caravan Park on the Linconshire coast is Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve. You can venture there all by yourself or join the organised activities put on by the staff there. If you are willing to go a little bit further, the RSPB Frampton Marsh Nature Reserve is also available to visit.
Another alternative is a day out by car to see the castle and cathedral of Lincoln. Other places of interest by car are Boston which is a bit closer to the site than Lincoln.
