Old Hall Holiday Park

Old Hall Holiday Park is tucked away in the village of Langthrope in North Yorkshire. It is only a 5 minute walk from the picturesque market town of Boroughbridge.

Boroughbridge was once a popular stop over for travellers by stage coach, river and canal. Because of the park's close proximity to Boroughbridge it is a great base from which to visit the many attractions in the Yorkshire away as well as further away.

The park was purchased in 1979 and has been developed since then but carefully so that it hasn't lost any of its charm. The origins of the Hall date from 1604. The farmstead on which the park lies existed in Saxon times and is mentioned in the Domesday Book.

Old Hall Holiday Park caters for a limited number of touring caravans and tents. They have modern hook-up and disposal facilities. Most of the 7½ acres of parkland is left to afford space and comfort for the static holiday homes. The park has received 4 Stars from the Tourist Board and has received a David Bellamy Silver Award, which shows the thought and effort that has been invested in the Old Hall.

Old Hall Holiday Park offers either an 11 month or a 9 month season. Some pitches have been developed with piped gas and concrete bases. Each of the homes is served with modern water and an electric supply. There is a well appointed launderette next to the park reception. Over the road from that are the male and female toilets and showers.

There is a games room that incorporates a snooker table for adults and pool and darts for younger family members. You can enjoy these facilities no matter what the weather.

Just a few hundred yards down the road is the Fox and Hounds where you can unwind with a beer or take your family out for a meal.
