Situated amidst lovely woodlands, Burnbake Campsite is a quiet, secluded site that has a stream running through it. It is perfect for campers that want a holiday away from the stresses of everyday life and are looking for a place to unwind and relax. The woods and stream are great for children to explore while their parents rest knowing that their children are safe.

The site allows you to choose where you would like to pitch. All of their pitches are level. They have areas amongst the trees to camp as well as grassy areas that have natural divisions that offer privacy.

Burnbake Campsite is set in the heart of the lovely Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. They are ideally situated for exploring the local area. In Purbeck you can see the rolling countryside, Blue Flag awarded beaches, the Jurassic coastline, castles and many historic monuments. Just 5 minutes away is Studland with its 3 miles of sandy beach. You can enjoy off-road cycling just 4 miles away. Also nearby is the picturesque village of Corfe Castle with its amazing castle ruins. Less than 10 minutes away is the bustling seaside town of Swanage and the walled market town of Wareham. Both towns have pubs, restaurants and shops.

FACILITIES

There are excellent, immaculately clean and well-maintained facilities at the site. They have 2 purposely built buildings that contain hot showers and WCs. They also have a baby room that has facilities for changing and bathing. They have a chemical disposal point for those with their own chemical buckets. The laundry room has a washing, a tumble dryer and washing-up sinks. Children can enjoy a safe play area that has a slide and swinging tyres. The site is adjoined by a sports field for those who are athletic.

Burnbake Campsite has its own on-site shop that is well-stocked and which opens twice a day. They have bread, cakes and milk arriving daily for breakfast time. They also have Calor gas, charcoal and cooking and camping equipment for sale. You can hand in a freezer pack and it will be ready the next day for you to use. You can hire picnic tables at the site.
