Situated less than a mile from Bude in North Cornwall, Upper Lynstone Caravan and Camping Park is quiet, family-run and is set on the coastal road to Widemouth Bay. Within walking distance of Upper Lynstone is Bude with its shops, bars, restaurants and beaches with outdoor pool.

The coastal path leads from Upper Lynstone which allows guests to enjoy the stunning beauty of the Cornish coast. Guests can also choose to go on a walk down country lanes to the footpath beside the old Bude Canal which can either lead guests to Bude or inland to the picturesque village of Marhamchurch.

Upper Lynstone Caravan and Camping Park has modern caravans for hire and features spacious camping and touring fields that are equipped with electric hook-ups. The grounds are spacious and are immaculately maintained. The park itself boasts panoramic rural and coastal views.

There is a small but well-stocked shop on site for guests' daily essentials. The accessories shop stocks both Calor and Campig Gaz. The site also features a laundry room and a children's play area. Guests also have access to a baby changing facility and a toilet that is equipped for the disabled.

The Cloke family has owned Upper Lynstone Caravan and Camping Park for many years. Old friends and acquaintances return to the park year after year to enjoy this peaceful, quality park. TOURING AND CAMPING

Upper Lynstone Caravan and Camping Park has two camping fields that offer 25 bookable pitches that are equipped with 10 amp electrical hook-up connections. The fields have been extensively leveled and the pitches on the field are grassy.

There is another camping area that adjoins the other fields. This camping area features an open plan setup and it can accommodate about 45 units. The site has 2 separate toilet blocks as well as free showers and a large baby changing facility and disabled toilet.

Upper Lynstone Caravan and Camping Park has a family and couples only policy. No groups are allowed to stay at the site. They do however accept single hikers to their park. Responsible pet owners can bring their well-behaved dogs to the park. All dogs must be kept on a lead while on the site and they must be exercised off of the park.

Adjoining the campsite is the coastal footpath which offers scenic walks to the coast and town with magnificent panoramic views.

CARAVAN HOLIDAY HOMES FOR HIRE

Upper Lynstone Caravan and Camping Park offers modern 4 and 6 berth caravans for hire. All of the caravans have mains services, colour TV, a refrigerator and a microwave.

The caravans features a lounge and dining area, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower, wash basin and WC. The site's 4 berth caravans come with 1 double bedroom and 2 convertible bed settees in the lounge area. Their 6 berth caravans come with 1 double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a convertible double bed in either the lounge or the dining area. The site's classic caravans have 3 bedrooms offering double, twin and a well-designed bunk room.

Upper Lynstone Caravan and Camping Park supplies duvets with covers and pillows for guests but all guests need to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea-towels. The site provides all cooking and eating utensils.

All of the caravans are well-spaced with plenty of rooms for guests to park their cars by the caravan. Each caravan has spectacular views inland to the old Bude Canal and river to the distant villages and moors.

OUT AND ABOUT

Nearby Bude is a modern, spacious resort. Instead of a promenade above the beaches there is open down land. The local area has 3 miles of beaches. Crooklets beach is thought to be a close second to Australia's Bondi Beach.

About 2½ miles south of Upper Lynstone Caravan and Camping Park is Widemouth Bay which is a long, sandy beach that is very popular with surfers. Both Bude and Widemouth have rock pools at low tide where children can spend many hours exploring with shrimping nets and crab lines.

There is an abundance of coastal paths to choose from and the 10 mile walk to Crackington Haven is one of the most picturesque walks in the British Isles. Upper Lynstone Caravan and Camping Park is near the Devon border which means that guests are within easy reach of Clovelly, Hartland Point, Westward Ho! and many other North Devon resorts.

About half an hour away from the site is Dartmoor and even closer to the park is Cornwall's Bodmin Moor. Upper Lynstone is perfectly situated for touring both Devon and Cornwall. Guests can also enjoy Bude's Splash fun pool with its wave machine on the less sunny days. The area has something to offers all types of guests in spring, summer and autumn.
