The local area is full of an abundance of historic houses, castles, beautiful gardens and much more to visit. Just a 4 minutes drive from Riverside Caravan Park is Hawick which is the largest town in the Borders. Hawick has a range of shops and restaurants and a leisure centre.

Riverside Caravan Park's touring area has grass and hard standing pitches for tents, tourers and motor homes. They allow well behaved pets on the touring area.

The park makes a great central base for exploring the Borders region. There are excellent Borders pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes.

There is free fishing from the park's river banks on the Teviot and there are 50 percent reduced green fees for golfers on their sister park's golf course. Nearby there are facilities for walking, horse riding and archery.
