 Ellergill Raise (formerly Rosegarth Farm)

Near the west coast of Cumbria, Ellergill Raise (formerly Rosegarth Farm) is a small certificated Adults Only site that borders the Lake District National Park.

The level site has 5 hardstanding pitches and 25 grass pitches.. Electric hook-ups and water points are also provided. A small toilet and shower block is available for visitors to use at no extra charge.

Ellergill Raise overlooks the fells and is located in great walking country. It makes a good base for exploring all of Cumbria and the Lakes. You can come to the site and relax in the tranquil surroundings.

The site is adjacent to Singleton's Nurseries. Their grounds have an amazing licensed restaurant. Lambelea Pond and Garden Centre are both located within 500 yards of the site. Their reputations proceed them.

The market town of Egremont is located just 3 miles from the Ellergill Raise (formerly Rosegarth Farm). They are well known for being the hosts of the world famous Crab Fair and for their gurning championships.

The village of St. Bees is nearby which features sandy shores and a tranquil coastline. They have many local pubs that serve meals. They also have a licensed local post office where you can get most of the items that you will need for your stay.

Those with a sense of adventure can enjoy walking, cycling and a golf course in the local area.

DIRECTIONS

Leave junction 40 (M6), onto the (A66) west.

At Cockermouth join the (A595) to Egremont, Enter Egremont town centre follow signpost for St. Bees/Nethertown. After 1.5 mile turn left then right at signpost Middleton/Netherton. After 0.5 mile turn left into site opposite Singleton Nurseries/Garden Centre.
