Set in 5 acres of level ground and sheltered by mature trees, Kings Down Tail Caravan and Camping Park is a great place for your next holiday.

The park is centrally located in the heart of East Devon. Guests can enjoy all the area's unspoiled coast and countryside.

The site is near the Regency town of Sidmouth, which is one of East Devon's best coastal resorts.

Kings Down Tail Caravan and Camping Park is an AA 3 Pennant rated park. The camping and touring pitches are spacious and level. There are electric hook-ups and some hard standings available. Guests don't need to go anywhere else.

The park is an ideal location for holidaymakers who appreciate peace and quiet throughout the year. The park is near many of East Devon's attractions, and they are set alongside the World Heritage Site from Exmouth to Studland.

The park has a partly-fenced play area for children, as well as a games room that includes a pool table, table tennis and amusement machines.

GLAMPING PODS

The Pods are designed to make your break away as easy as possible. Simply bring your camping gear ie. bedding and move straight in and start enjoying your break away.

It's a fun way of camping without the associated hassle of pitching a tent, setting up and packing away. You won't have to worry about the great British weather either!

Situated in the 'Pod Field' within the main park where you will find toilets, a washing up area and an undercover communal cooking area.

CARAVAN STORAGE

Kings Down Tail Caravan and Camping Park is a secure site that has won an award from the Devon and Cornwall Police for the East Devon Secure Caravan Park Scheme.

They offer storage in 2 areas; one is located just by the house and the other is adjacent to the park. They have hard surfaced some of this and the rest is grass. Both of the areas feature an alarm system. They move your caravans in and out as needed. Caravans are safer in storage than on the park when they are not in use.

If you want to use your caravan on the park, you must give the site 2 days' notice in order to have your caravan placed in time. Guests who want to use their caravan on a different park still need to give notice, though the caravan park does not mind.
