East Balthangie Caravan & Camping Park

East Balthangie Caravan & Camping Park is located in the North East of Scotland, which is acknowledged as the driest part of Scotland, making the site perfect for camping.

Nearby you can visit Banff and Buchan which both features many interesting attractions. The area features plenty of pubs, secluded beach coves, and is handy for the whisky trail.

Traffic is light on the roads in the area making them perfect for cyclists, walkers or bikers to go on a scenic trip through the varied country roads.

Nearby attractions include the Distilleries, the Castle Trail and the Coastal Trail. The area also features some museums, namely Haddo House, Dalgety Castle, and the National Lighthouse Museum.

There are a variety of choices for getting a meal around the area. There are many excellent restaurants nearby as well as village bar meals, local fish and chip shops and Indian takeaway. You can also choose to stay on site and have a barbeque.

East Balthangie Caravan & Camping Park tries to meet all guests' special needs but does not have very specific disabled facilities. Pets are welcome at the park and there is a secure exercise area where the dogs can be let off their leashes. There is also a pet loo available.

Bikers, cyclists, walkers, and motorists are all welcome at the campsite, Planet Balthangie. On site barbeques and well organised rallies are welcome.

East Balthangie Caravan & Camping Park’s amenities include a toilet block with power shower wet rooms, a dressing table area for women and a camper’s kitchen that includes a microwave, toaster, kettle and radio as well as a table and chairs. There are also hot water washing up facilities and laundry facilities. Use of the laundry facility costs £2.00 for washing machine and the dryer costs 50p per 15 minutes.
