Portsoy Links Caravan Park

Looking out across the North Sea from its 17th Century harbour, the small town of Portsoy was developed principally for trade with the Baltic and the Low Countries. This included the exporting of Portsoy marble which can be found as far afield as the Palace of Versailles.

Portsoy hosts the lively Scottish Traditional Boat Festival which showcases historic wooden fishing and sailing boats. The Boat Festival also includes skiff racing, craft demonstrations, a popular food fayre, a plethora of live traditional music, a variety of children's activities and a 2k fun run and 10k road run. The Festival is held annually in June/July, please see www.stbfportsoy.org for dates.

The town is situated on the National Cycle Route which features great rides to the south, east and west of the town. Visitors can enjoy fine coastal walks in the area with some fine, sandy beaches along the way. The area also hosts a selection of wildlife including dolphins, seals and birds.

Nearby Banff, Macduff and Cullen have excellent golf courses. Within an hour's drive of the town there are no less than 18 castles, from ruins to stately homes and the renowned whisky trails are also within a short driving distance.

Portsoy Links Caravan Park is set overlooking the bay with a sandy beach just a stone's throw from the site. The facilities at Portsoy Links Caravan Park have been updated and now include disabled shower facilities. The town centre and selection of shops, cafes and takeaway is within walking distance of the Park.

Much of the site is on sloping ground so you should take care when setting up your caravan or motor home. The location also makes accessing mobile phone and TV signals very difficult. Free WiFi is offered across the site but is limited.

A large number of visitors return to the Park for repeat visits, which confirms the Park's popularity.

If you have any questions please contact our friendly team who will be happy to assist. Prices and availability information can be found on our website, which also accepts online bookings.
