Located in the heart of Nidderdale in North Yorkshire, Studfold Farm is a working farm that rears cattle and sheep. The site is located 7 miles north of Pateley Bridge in lovely hill country near to How Stean Gorge. The farm is owned by the Walker family who have farmed in Upper Nidderdale for over 400 years.

The Walkers have run the Caravan and Camping Park for 3 generations. They have always prided themselves on providing guests with a well maintained, beautiful site that features modern facilities in a great location. The family will give you a friendly Yorkshire welcome and will make every effort to ensure that you enjoy your holiday.

The farm is located on the Nidderdale Way. It is a great centre for walking, bird watching and exploring neighbouring Dales with their wealth of historical building and variety of scenery. You can also just relax and let the stresses of everyday life disappear as you take in the beauty and pace of Upper Nidderdale.

Studfold Farm has a static caravan area and a camping and touring area. The pitches are all 10m x 10m.  They are flat, well drained grass pitches.  In the first field 22 of the pitches have access to an electric hook up.  The remaining pitches do not have electric hook ups.  There is a flat grass area that is set aside for the children to play ball games on and there is access down to the beck but young children need adult supervision here.

The toilet and facilities block has a dry changing area for each shower, a private washing area, 2 baby change areas and disabled facilities.  There is a covered washing up area and separate grey water and elsan disposal points.  Cloths, washing up liquid and liquid soap are all provided.

The new Camping Shelter comes omplete with a barbeque and pizza oven. It is an undercover lit area where you can gather to eat, drink and socialise when the weather is inclement.

There is a small on-site shop that sells basic essentials as well as calor gas and camping gaz. The shop is near the farmhouse and a just a short distance away from the touring area.

Studfold Farm have plenty of space for touring caravans, tents and motor homes. It is advised that you book in advance during busy times of the year. Dogs are allowed but they must be kept on a lead at all times. You can exercise them off of the site. The site's maximum group booking is 3 units unless there is prior arrangement made and agreed upon.

There is also a field for static caravans and seasonal pitches. Sometimes pitches become available and sometimes vans are sold.

CAMPING PODS

The increasingly popular warm, dry and deceptively large camping pods have arrived at Studfold.  Situated in a quiet corner of the park the glamping or camping pods promise to offer a whole new experience. Glamping in the Yorkshire Dales at it's best!
