Channel View Caravan and Camping Park
Located in a sunny position in lovely North Devon, Channel View Caravan and Camping Park is a quiet, family-run site. It is a south facing park that overlooks Lynton, Lynmouth and Exmoor. You will see some of the best scenery in England. The famous Summerhouse Hill is just a 10 minute walk away. There you can see some of the most glorious panoramic views in the country.
The park is great for camping and touring. They have their own on-site well stocked, self-service shop as well as all of the normal facilities you would find on a touring park. Guests just need to show up, set up their stuff and enjoy their holiday.
There are an excellent fleet of caravans for hire that are fully equipped for guests' every need. The proprietors personally clean and maintain each one. Guests only need to bring their own linen.

When you purchase a holiday at Channel View Caravan and Camping Park the price includes gas and electricity. This allows guests to enjoy either a long or a short break.
The rugged and wild Exmoor coast, with its breathtaking scenery provides ample opportunity to go walking, cycling, horse riding and fishing and there are many gardens and heritage sites in North Devon.
There is some great surfing to be had at Lynmouth, Croyde and Woolacombe.
Visitors can walk from the North Walk in Lynton to the Valley of Rocks which is home to the town's famous herd of wild goats. There are dramatic rock formations in the valley.
There is an excellent walk from Lynmouth following the East Lyn River to Watersmeet. At Watersmeet visitors will see waterfalls and have a great cream tea at Watersmeet House.
The towns of Lynton and Lynmouth are situated on the South West Coast Path and there are many other long distance paths that start or finish in the area. The local area is truly a walker's paradise with spectacular views and a chance to spot red deer.
Take a ride on the cliff railway, and explore Lynton and Lynmouth's numerous tea rooms, shops and boutiques. There is also a cinema and local museum where visitors can find out about the towns' history.
There are two major preserved railways near Lynton. The restored Lynton & Barnstaple narrow gauge railway has one station open at Woody Bay.
A little further away is the West Somerset Railway which runs 20 miles from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard, near Taunton.
