Crowhurst Park

Crowhurst Park lies in the heart of the East Sussex country and yet it is just 5 miles from the coast. It consists of a 16th century country house that is surrounded by parkland with views across open countryside to the sea.

The park was opened by the Simmons family in 1973 and since then they have made constant improvements to the site. They have always been committed to the highest levels of service. They use mystery shopping experts Shopper Anonymous to help them achieve such high standards for their guests.

Crowhurst Park has been voted South East England Tourist Board Holiday Park of the Year twice. They have also been awarded 5 Stars by the England Tourism Council with 4 Stars for their self-catering accommodation.

A half mile private drive lined with rhododendron, pine and beech leads to the 120 acre Crowhurst Park Estate. On the park you can see badgers, pheasants and much other wildlife. The park has won a David Bellamy Gold Award for their efforts in Conservation.

In this lovely setting they have built a number of pine lodges. The lodges have 2 to 3 bedrooms, a lounge, dining area, kitchen and a bathroom. They all have carefully chosen furnishings and are double glazed and centrally heated for year round comfort. Because pine is a natural insulator you will find that their lodges are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. There is parking available next to each lodge.

Crowhurst Park's facilities include a great pool and leisure complex, an all weather tennis court, a children's adventure play area and the local village cricket pitch. Their Grade II listed manor house has bars, a coffee shop, dining room, games room, lounge and a ballroom.

There is a wide variety of recreational activities within easy reach of Crowhurst Park. They are situated in the heart of 1066 Country which is the birthplace of modern England. Only 2 miles away is the battlefield where William the Conqueror defeated King Harold at the Battle of Hastings.
