Southfork Caravan Park

Southfork Caravan Park is a small, peaceful site situated between the historic villages of Martock and South Petherton, set in open countryside near to the River Parrett. The site is level and part sheltered with trees.

There are 27 Touring Pitches, 2 Holiday Homes and a Luxury Glamping Cabin.

The park's aim is to provide and keep a high standard of service in a peaceful rural setting. Many visitors have been going to Southfork for a number of years either to break up a long journey or relax in the open countryside.

Southfork Caravan Park is open all year so you can experience each season in this beautiful part of the West Country.

The central location is ideal for getting Out and About or visiting either coastline.

Fishing permits for the River Parrett and other Lakes in the area are available from reception.

Southfork Caravan Park is an ideal base for walking with the Parrett Trail , Ham Hill and other paths nearby, for either a relaxing stroll or a more energetic hike across the beautiful countryside.

CARAVAN & CAMPING TOURING PARK

Our touring park has level pitches with open views across the countryside but are within easy reach of the facilities on site.

• 23 touring pitches (18 with 10amp electric, 5 without electric)

• 2 serviced pitches (water-16 amp electric - waste) reinforced geo blocks, grassed over.

• 2 hard standing gravelled pitches with 16amp electric

• Dogs welcome on a short lead

• Parking for one car at each pitch

• Car Park area for extra cars and visitors

• Security Gates close at 10.30pm open 7.00am

• Ample space for awning and pods

• Pup tents allowed near units

• 5 mph on site

When you make a booking you can choose a pitch with shade from the trees or near to the play area and we will try our best to accommodate you.

STATIC CARAVAN HOLIDAY HOMES

Brand new in 2018 the 2 static caravans are the latest model Atlas Mirage.  Both are equipped to sleep six in total comfort.  Meadow View (2 bed) and Park View (3 bed) also both benefit from a private, enclosed patio and garden area with outside table.  The fully equipped and furnished luxury holiday homes are spacious and comfortable, both units feature a fully equipped kitchen with integrated oven with hob and grill and separate microwave, lounge seating for 6 as well as an en-suite shower room from the double bedroom and separate wc.  The holiday homes are fully double glazed and have LPG gas water heating, central heating and an electric fire to the main living area.  The caravans are double glazed, fully insulated, including the floors and tastefully furnished and equipped in a contemporary style with everything you need for a truly relaxing holiday in the beautiful Somerset country side.

LUXURY GLAMPING POD

The Glamping Pod is perfect for a getaway at any time of year when you don’t want the hassle of putting up and taking down a tent. Set slightly away from the main camping and caravanning pitches, it is designed to sleep two adults with all the comforts of home, including a proper double bed with linen and throws, lockable door, storage and lighting.
