Overlooking the lovely Eden Valley, Chapel Farm Caravan Park is a caravan site that is located in the quiet hamlet of Little Asby near the fells. The park is located about 8 miles from the M6 Junction 38 and is 8 miles from Appleby town centre.
The local area is great for fell walking, bird watching and other countryside pursuits.
Chapel Farm Caravan Park is an unspoilt 9 acre caravan site that is located in Little Asby. They have the caravans well spaced and sited without regimentation. They personally supervise the siting of caravans to ensure that it is done properly.
There is plenty of space for children to place and to exercise your pets. The site allows dogs if owners keep them well controlled.
The site's facilities include a tennis court, games room with slot machines, full size pool table, full size snooker table, table tennis, laundrette, payphone and a children's play area.
The site's caravans for hire and fully-equipped and feature crockery, cutlery, duvets, blankets and pillows. You must bring your own bed linen and tea towels. The caravans have running water, electric lights, colour TV, a refrigerator and Calor Gas fires that heat them. Each unit has toilets, showers and adequate cooking facilities.
The park is a peaceful central base for nature lovers, walkers and sightseers. Just 8 miles away is Appleby with its castle and horse fair and 19 miles away is Kendal.
Within easy reach of the park are historic towns and villages, the coast to coast Pennine Way long distance paths and more. One fun thing to do is to take a trip on the lovely Settle to Carlisle railway from Kirby Stephen.
