Summerlands Caravan Park is a safe haven for those seeking a quiet place off the beaten track for their caravan, motorhome or tent. You can enjoy superb panoramic views, peace and tranquilty on your stay. It is ideal for a long holiday or a one night stay. Features level pitches.
On the edge of the village of Coombe Bissett, about 6 miles SSW of the medieval city of Salisbury, Summerlands Caravan Park is situated within Cranborne Chase, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Set high on the 135m contour line, facing south, the park is in the midst of the rolling Wiltshire chalk downs, which are intersected by many path and bridleways.
Originally certified for just 5 caravans, Summerlands Caravan Park was developed in 1995 to its current capacity of 20 pitches plus 5 more areas for tents, but retained its small, friendly quality. It is a family-run site acquired by Alan and Barbara Ely in Decemeber 2009, with 3 generations assisting in maintaining and improving the facilities.
