Exe Valley Caravan Site

Exe Valley Caravan Site occupies a prime position in a wooded valley alongside the River Exe, within the National Park.

The site is ideally situated for visiting the Doone Valley, Tarr Steps, Dulverton and many other beautiful venues in the area.

This four acre ‘Adult Only’ campsite is owned and managed by Paul and Christine Matthews.

Set beside the River Exe or the millstream, 47 pitches have electric and TV hook-ups, and there are 14 hard standings.

Reception forms part of the owner’s home which is an old mill, complete with water wheel and grindstones that are in working order.

Facilities at Exe Valley Caravan Site include a refurbished toilet block with the usual facilities and an en-suite room for disabled visitors (quite short steep ramp to enter). Excellent laundry with domestic washing and drying machines, plus a microwave (free). Motorcaravan service point. Small shop with basic provisions. Bicycle hire. Gas supplies. Free fly fishing. WiFi. This is an adult-only park.
