For camping at its best, Hendre Eynon is a wonderful choice. The site is surrounded by nature and is a haven for walkers, botanists and bird watchers. It is an ideal location for a family holiday.

The family-run site is set on a working dairy farm. The large level site offers plenty of space. It is a quiet, tranquil and peaceful space for your holiday.

The pitches are numbered and have a perimeter set out. The majority of them have 10 amp electric hook-ups. Each has an area in the front left of the pitch free so there is a lot of space to play.

The site offers a clean and safe holiday environment and they provide a number of excellent facilities that enhance your stay. They have a dedicated shower block that offers hot water, soap, paper hand towels and shower facilities.

There is another separate shower block that offers several large shower and toilet facilities with easy no step access. The shower facilities are free to use. Each of the washroom, shower and toilet areas is cleaned regularly throughout the day.

There is a laundry room on-site that has washing and drying facilities. There is a coin operated charge for the washer and dryer. In the same area there are also sinks and a unit for washing up that feature hot running water.

There is a small field behind the laundry area that is set aside for dog owners to walk their dogs. There is a chemical toilet emptying point and a rubbish collection point as well.

At the site office you can get fresh milk and eggs. If you want to freeze your freezer pack a small charge may apply. There is also a range of leaflets and tourist information available in the office. They also feature a pay phone.

The site is just 2 miles from the small town of St. Davids and its amazing cathedral. Hendre Eynon is also within easy reach of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and fine sandy beaches.

Adjacent to the site is the Dowrog Common Nature reserve. The skyline is dominated by the rocky mass of Penberry with truly magnificent coastal views and walking beyond.

The National Cycle Network’s Sustrans Route 4 Celtic Trail passes right by the site. The Puffin Shuttle also goes by the site which allows easy access to the coastal path further up the coast.
