Greenwoods Campsite is a quiet family site in Tattersett which is just 20 minutes away from the lovely North Norfolk Coast.
Campsite facilities include free showers, separate ladies and gentlemen toilets, a large fridge freezer, a washing up facility, chemical disposal point, public phone, and every pitch has a 16 amp electric hook up if required.
There are seventeen seasonal pitches and eight touring and camping pitches. Each of the twenty five pitches measure approximately 9 metres square. Each has 16amp electric hook-up available.
The pitches are properly marked so all campers have a guide to use when pitching up.
Greenwoods Campsite has a gradual, but not extreme, slope which is perfect for drainage in wet conditions for caravans and tents. This has been a blessing on several occasions when there has been local flooding but there hasn’t been standing water on the campsite.
The site manager always offers assistance to help you pitch up. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or just starting out, help and assistance is always available.
If you’re looking for a quiet retreat that is close to all of the local attractions then Greenwoods Campsite is ideal. There are no clubs or pubs within 1 mile of the site.
You will be well looked after when you stay here and staff will do their best to cater to your every need.
Greenwoods Campsite now has a glamping tent for hire and it’s perfect for couples and young families.
The Venus has one generous fixed bed and ample seating space and is ideal for short breaks or weekends or longer holidays, thanks to the the 2.35m deep, two-piece awning. (For full details see our website).
OUT AND ABOUT
There are many public foot paths around the campsite (one of which is directly next to the campsite) that offer long leisurely walks along quiet back roads.
It is also a great place for cyclists as well with so many back roads and pleasant villages to visit. There is a public bus stop 200 metres from the campsite with service to Fakenham and Kings Lynn.
Many of our guest have left the car behind and made day trips to the beach using Coast Hopper from Fakenham and shopping in Kings Lynn.
From Heacham in the west to Horsey in the east, North Norfolk has so much to explore. From the unique beauty of the Broads to lively seaside towns, the wild and untamed coastline to market towns steeped in history.
