Top Farm Camping & Caravan Site
You are assured of a warm and helpful welcome when you stay at Top Farm Camping and Caravan Site. It lies in a gentle rural setting and it has been owned and run by the same family for generations.
Touring Caravans, Motorhomes and Tents are welcome and there are Camping Cabins and a Shepherds for hire.
Top Farm Camping and Caravan Site is set deep in the Norfolk countryside. It encompasses 7 acres of well drained land that adjoins fields and meadows. The site backs directly onto Marsham Heath and its extensive woodlands. You can witness some excellent views and spectacular sunsets.
The area of Marsham is particularly interesting because of its richness and the diversity of its flora, fauna and wildlife. The heath was designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest in 1986 because it represented the largest area of heather heathland now remaining in East Norfolk. There are 3 main species to be found which are Bell Heather, Ling and Cross Leaved Heath. You can also see Western Gorse which is uncommon in Eastern Britain and offers a lovely yellow display during the spring and the summer. There is a wide variety of heathland birds that nest on the site including Meadow Pipits, Sky Larks and occasional Nightjars for bird watchers to enjoy.
Top Farm Camping and Caravan Site has excellent facilities and makes a perfect location for ramblers, cyclists, nature lovers and those who desire some peace and tranquillity in a beautiful natural environment. The site allows well-controlled dogs on the park.
The Camping Cabins are all constructed of 6 inch thick structural timber insulated panels with insulated doors and double glazed windows, and a heater is also supplied, keeping you warm and dry all year round.
There are presently 6 Camping Cabins that sleep 2 people, 4 with a bunk bed and 2 with a folding double bed.
The Shepherds Hut is situated in an exclusive position away from the main camping area, with a breathtaking meadow view, unrivalled in Norfolk. The Shepherds Hut is placed on a traditional iron wheeled chassis with a curved metal roof, a gorgeous wood burning stove inside and filled with soft furnishings. The Shepherds Hut sleep up to four people so they are ideal for a couples weekend or family holiday.
