The Kings Head Pub and Caravan Park can accommodate 60 caravans on their touring plot with electric hook-ups. It is the complete family caravan holiday and leisure experience.
They feature a shower block that has separate male and female shower and toilets. The showers are free and there are on-site facilities that are in the process of being upgraded currently.
Kings Head Pub and Caravan Park caters to tourers, tents and camper vans. They are a seasonal site that has a barrier system in operation.
Once you have set up your accommodation on the park the site asks you to park your vehicle in their car park. This is to ensure the safety of both patrons and their children. Your cars will be safe because the car park is monitored 24 hours a day with CCTV. Although you are leaving your vehicles at your own risk the site does have some form of security in place.
Once camper vans are on the site they cannot leave until the end of their stay because added to the security barrier there is a lowered barrier above. They cannot keep opening the barrier for camper vans to come and go, so make sure you bring your car with you as well if you want to go to and from the site.
The site apologizes for any inconvenience that this may cause their guests. They supply this information before you book so that anyone who wishes to stay at the site with a campervan is not confused or mislead.
Most of Kings Head’s guests have thoroughly enjoyed their stay no matter if they stayed in a tent, camper, tourer or trailer tent. They have visited the site’s pub and restaurant and have returned year after year. You can even place your tourer at the site on a seasonal pitch to save money and to cut down the stress of bringing your tourer backwards and forwards.
They offer seasonal pitches throughout the year and have some good savings on offer. They try to accommodate everyone but they know that they can’t please everyone all of the time but they still try their best to make sure that all guests have a pleasant stay.
