The campsite is licensed for 23 Caravans / Motorhomes and 62 Tent pitches with 32 electric hook up points available. In addition, you can enjoy the ultimate Glamping Experience with 2 ‘Caban’ Glamping Pods in their own secluded area and 2 5metre Bell Tents located in a prime position overlooking the Nantcol River.

Unlike most campsites at Nantcol Waterfalls you can build a campfire but because the campsite is in a Tree Preservation Area you must only burn manufactured logs.

OUT AND ABOUT

The area is a ideal for walking and exploring and there are 4 walks from the campsite car park. The original Nature Trail opened in 1970 has information plaques along the route that will explain the formation of this terrain through the centuries and will take around an hour to complete.
The Children’s Island Walk is situated near the picnic area and is a small circular walk identifying different species of trees. A haven for safe exploration – a 10-minute walk.

The Riverside Walk is exactly that! It follows the course of the river Nantcol passing the waterfalls before circulating back to the Woodland Walk and bringing you safely back to the Car Park and should take you no more than an hour and a half to complete.
The Woodland Walk takes you through a mature woodland passing a derelict homestead. This woodland was fenced off in 1983 so has been allowed to flourish naturally.

Nearby attractions include the rugged Rhinog Mountains, sandy beaches, Harlech Castle, Barmouth, Shell Island, Royal St. David Golf Course, Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Mount Snowdon, Caernarfon Castle, Portmeiron Italian Village, Mountain Biking at Coed y Brenin, and the famous Market Town of Dolgellau with Cader Idris.
