Redcliffe Farm Campsite
Set on the edge of the River Frome, Redcliffe Farm Campsite is family-run and makes a great holiday location. It’s situated amongst the heart of the Dorset countryside but just a 10 minute walk from the farm to the historic market town of Wareham.
Redcliffe Farm Campsite makes a great base for walking, cycling, bird watching and simply enjoying the pretty Purbeck countryside with its famous Jurassic Coastline and excellent beaches.
Because Redcliffe Farm Campsite is so near to the River Frome and Poole Harbour it also makes a great base for fishing, boating and simply relaxing.
The site even has its own private slipway. You can take a 15 minute trip down the river directly into Poole Harbour.
Redcliffe Farm Campsite is a mostly level site that offers pitches for caravans and tents with or without electric hook-ups. If you don’t require a hook-up you are free to virtually pitch wherever you like within the allocated areas.
They have introduced a quiet field at the top of the site for couples and singles that require a little more peace during their stay.
They try and keep the site as peaceful and relaxing as possible. If the office is closed the owners will visit you on the site to book you in. They site allows dogs as long as they are kept on a lead at all times. You can exercise your dog on a large field that is adjacent to the site.
Though they do not features an on-site shop the 10 minute walk along the tow path is so pleasant that guests don’t seem to mind. The park has a large area where both children and adults can play ball games and fly kites. This area is not open during Bank Holiday times.
