Set on a working organic beef farm, Goldcombe Farm Caravan Park features truly lovely views as well as an abundance of birds and wildlife to see on their park in the heart of the Dorset countryside.
Goldcombe Farm Caravan Park makes an ideal base for exploring the variety of attractions that Dorset has to offer. It is also just a great place to sit back and relax. The fields surrounding the park make a great place for kite flying. The park has direct access to the Ridgway Inland Coastal Path which offers excellent walking, cycling and riding.
Goldscombe Farm has its own entrance that has plenty of room for turning. There is ample space to site up to 5 caravans per night. They have 5 electric hook-ups and fresh water and waste disposal points on-site. There is a shower and toilet block set only 20 yards from the entrance of the park.
Depending on season, prices start at £14 per pitch per night, including electric hook-up. The site welcomes well-behaved dogs and you can even bring your own horse if you wish. Bringing either must be done with prior arrangement and costs a small fee. Goldscombe Farm is open all year round.
The park is set in some of Dorset’s most spectacular countryside and it makes an ideal base for exploring the delights of the county. Goldscombe Farm enjoys direct access to the coastal footpath and a wealth of bridleways. Those who wish to take a horse has have stabling and grazing provided for an additional cost.
You can see Hardy’s Monument from the caravan park. It is just a couple of minutes’ drive away. There are breath taking and far reaching panoramic views from the monument. It is well worth a visit.
Just 2 miles away is the picturesque Martintown’s village pub. They have a great restaurant menu and a takeaway option.
You can reach the coast with the famous Chesil Beach just 3 miles away. It can be seen from the coastal footpath as well as from the monument.
