Dalston Hall is a privately owned family-run static, touring and camping park. It is set in the lovely and tranquil grounds of Dalston Hall Estate. They have converted their old stables into a club house that features a licensed bar and serves breakfast and bar meals.

Dalston Hall is AA listed, BH and HPA registered and a member of Cumbria Tourism. The park is just a short drive away from the lovley Lake District National Park and the Scottish Borders.

Just 5 miles away along the B5299 is the historic city of Carlisle with its castle, museum and renowned Lanes Shopping Centre. Only 500 yards away is The Cumbrian Way and Cycleway. Less than a half a mile away is the Reivers Cycle Route. The park is also on the Coast to Coast and Land’s End to John O’Groats routes. You can enjoy 2 miles of fly fishing in the nearby River Caldew as well as the site’s own 9 hole par 67 golf course.

Those that are looking for a relaxing, peaceful and relaxing holiday will find it at Dalston Hall Holiday Park. They have room for a large number of touring caravans and motorhomes set in woodland surroundings. They recently totally redeveloped. Now all pitches are on hard standings and feature 16 amp electric hook-ups, water and a courtesy night light. They also have an area for tents with electric hook-ups. Dalston Hall is open from 1st March through to 31st January each year.

They have a toilet block that is centrally located on the park. It is complete with wash basins, WCs and coin operated power showers. They also have a laundry room that contains a washing machine, tumble dryer and an ironing board. They are all operated by tokens that are available from reception.

They have indoor and outdoor washing-up sinks for campers to use. Near the toilets is the chemical waste disposal point.

The site’s clubhouse and restaurant is open to all visitors. Food is served until 7.30pm. The bar sells draught beers and lagers and many bottled drinks. There is a pool table in the back bar.

Dalston Hall welcomes dogs but they must be kept on a lead at all times. They have a dog exercise area near the entrance to the park.

Near the site they have a 9 hole par 67 golf course. There are tee reservations at weekends and after 4.00pm on weekdays.

They recommend fly fishing on the nearby river Caldew for brown trout and late season salmon. You can get day tickets at the reception.

Within the touring park there are 6 static pitches that overlook the children’s play area. This is ideal for young and active families.

They have a mature static caravan area that is away from the rest of areas. Pitches provide generous spacing while the fully grown trees and hedges provide privacy.

They have 2 lodge pitches that are currently under construction in this secluded area.
