Mena Caravan and Camping Park

Mena Caravan and Camping Park is an award winning site in a lovely hill top position with 15 acres of open space including a small fishing lake – perfect for picnics, exploring, adventures and dog walks.

In addition, we also have a range of self-catering accommodation including two well-appointed static caravans, three bell-tents for glamping holidays, and Mena Farmhouse itself is available for holiday rentals.

The mainly level park is situated just outside Lanivet village, the alleged centre of Cornwall, ideally situated for all of Cornwall’s greatest tourist attractions.

TOURING AND CAMPING
Mena welcomes Touring Caravans, Motorhomes and Tents. The touring pitches are mainly level with a mixture of hard standing and grass, spaced amongst 4 acres of landscaped park.

Facilities include free hot showers and for those requiring disabled or infant facilities a separate secure wet room complete with baby change facility is available.

The main shower block has washing up and hand laundry facilities as well as coin operated washing machine and tumble dryers together with free ironing facility.

There is a small shop in reception stocked with fresh bread, eggs, bacon, milk and other essential food and toiletry items.

Outside of reception is a deck café area serving simple breakfast items to full cooked breakfasts, cream teas and simple hot evening meals and chips to take away. Hot and cold drinks and ice creams are available all day!

CARAVAN HIRE
Mena has two caravan holiday homes for hire, both have 2 bedrooms and sleep 7 (1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedded room with 3rd child’s bunk, and a double sofa bed in lounge).

OUT AND ABOUT
Mena Caravan and Camping Park is situated between the beaches and coves on both the North and South coast, the nearest being just 8 miles away and the great north coast surfing beaches of Newquay and Polzeath are only 25 minutes drive.

Just four miles away is The Eden Project and the National Trust’s fantastic Lanhydrock House and Gardens and its new family cycle hub are just two miles from the park.

Overlooking the park is Helman Torr, a Neolithic hill fort site, one of the highest points on Bodmin moor, and the Saints Way an ancient pilgrim path from Padstow to Fowey, runs within 500 metres of the park making us and ideal mid-point overnight stop.

The nearby Camel Trail offers good cycling and walking on a track created from the old railway. It runs from Padstow to Poley’s Bridge up on Bodmin moor, and connects with the Camelford Way.
