The nearby town of Knutsford is famous for its great shopping centre, excellent restaurants, old inns and its numerous interesting buildings. The pleasant village of Holmes Chapel is also nearby which features a number of shops, inn and restaurants. Holmes Chapel is also home to St. Luke’s Church which dates back to the 15th century. Because Royal Vale is a caravan park in East Cheshire they are situated alongside the wonderful River Peover which has a footpath that leads across the fields to the ancient village of Lower Peover with its old church and famous hostelry, The Bells of Peover.
