Wyton Lakes Holiday Park

Wyton Lakes Holiday Park accommodates touring caravans, motor homes and tents on their pitches. They are an Adults Only park that allows only those over the age of 18 to stay. They mostly have hard standing pitches for the caravans and motor homes and a grass camping field for the tents. A lot of the pitches are near the fishing lakes. All of the caravan and motor home pitches have electric hook-ups and water taps that come standard. The site can accommodate large motor homes with prior arrangement.

There is a toilet and shower block on-site that provides free hot showers, free hairdryers, dish washing and a disabled toilet and shower. They have a chemical toilet disposal point and they stock Calor Gas. The site’s dish washing area has a comprehensive selection of tourist information in it as well as a freezer so that guests can freeze their ice blocks.

Wyton Lakes Holiday Park allows well behaved dogs on the site as long as they are kept on a lead at all times and as long as you clean up after them.

The park is in a great location for visiting the local attractions including the large Huntingdon and Leisure Garden Centre with its restaurant and coffee shop. This is situated opposite of Wyton Lakes’ entrance. Guests can hire boats from Huntingdon or St. Ives for cruising along the river. You can also take a trip on the Captains Table which is boat located next door at Hartford Marina. They are an unusual dining experience.

There are many places to see animals including the Raptor Centre which is home to birds of prey, Hamerton Zoo which has exotic animals and the famous Wood Green Animal Shelter. There is a wide variety of golf courses for golfers to enjoy. You can also spend a day at Huntingdon Steeplechases. The town of Huntingdonshire centres on the Great Ouse and offers a wealth of history. There are many market towns and peaceful villages to explore. The local area is associated with historical names such as Oliver Cromwell and Samuel Pepys.
