Callow Top Holiday Park

Situated on the outskirts of Ashbourne in Derbyshire, Callow Top is a 4 Star family camping and caravan site that is located just a 20 minutes' drive from Alton Towers.

The site is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Derbyshire and Staffordshire Peak District National Park. They have direct access to the Tissington Trail cycle path from their site. They are perfectly located for enjoying many walks in the local area.

The site has everything that you need on-site to cater for a fun filled family holiday during their peak season. They are close to all of the area's major attractions. You can choose to explore if you want to and if not then you can stay and enjoy the relaxing surroundings.

During the week while they are in low season you can stay at the park and enjoy the tranquil surroundings, walking, cycling and fishing.

Callow Inn is the focal point of the park. They serve pub food and real ale from the site's own on-site brewery.

The site has many facilities for families including a children's play area, games field, amusement arcade, cycle hire and on-site coarse fishing.

During peak season there is entertainment. This includes discos, quizzes and bingo. The sites heated outdoor swimming and paddling pools are open from May until September.

Also during peak season Arnold's Cafe Bar is open. They serve food and drinks throughout the day and have takeaway meals and pizzas available. There is a Wi-Fi hotspot in the Cafe area.

Practical Caravan has voted Callow Top a Top 100 Park in 2008, 2009 and 2010. They have also been awarded East Midlands Holiday Park of the Year in 2009 by the England Excellence Awards that are held by the tourist board.
