Higher Moor Farm Campsite is situated in the village of Nottington, only a short drive from the famous golden sands of Weymouth bay.

This quiet, family orientated, campsite caters for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes. There are also fully furnished Bell Tents and Micro Pod Lodges for hire.

The spacious grass pitches have lovely views over the rolling Dorset countryside and there is plenty of room for the children to play. Electric and water hook-up are available.

Higher Moor Farm Campsite's facilities include award-winning toilet and shower block, washing up area and baby changing. There are also laundry facilities including washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. There is also a new farm shop packed with essentials and treats and also sells hot, fresh tea and coffee.

If you want to camp without the hassle of bringing your own tent then one of the luxurious Bell Tents would be ideal. They come fully furnished, including inflatable beds, AC power and retro furnishing.

If you want even more luxury then one of the Micro Pod Lodges is for you. They come fully furnished including your own modern spacious en-suite toilet and shower.

The Micro Pod Lodge only sleeps 2 people but, if you want to bring up to 3 children, they can pitch up their own tent outside but this must be pre-booked.

Higher Moor Farm Campsite is a great base to explore this beautiful part of the country. You are close by to walk the spectacular Jurassic Coast, visit the world famous Chesil Beach, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.

There are lots of outdoor activities to get involved in from Kyaking, sailing, horse riding, hiking or cycling. The 2012 Olympics took place in nearby Weymouth and is well worth a visit.

There are plenty of near by good quality pubs and restaurants. You can enjoy tranquil visits to local post card towns and villages of Abbotsbury, Milton Abbas, Corfe Castle, Evershot, Dorchester, Lyme Regis, West Bay and Bridport. You can follow in the steps of Thomas Hardy who lived nearby and wrote his novels all about this area.
