Elan Oaks Camping and Caravan Site

Elan Oaks Camping and Caravan Site is set in the beautiful Elan Valley on the banks of the River Elan offering nature at its best. There are Red kites, Buzzards and Peregrine Falcons, flying above. Badgers making their dens in the banks and Otters swimming in the river below.

There are 12 hardstanding super pitches suitable to take the largest of motorhomes. They have a 16amp electrical connection, with water, TV, satellite and ethernet connections. This site is open all year round.

Separate to this is a beautiful grass site with access to the river bank solely for tents.

At the entrance to Elan Oaks Camping and Caravan Site is the cycle track which starts in Cwmdauddwr and takes you past the visitors centre and on up to the Craig Coch reservoir which is the top dam, you can join the track at any point along its length. The track follows the route of the old railway line which took men and materials to work on the dams, and in some places the actual line itself.

The market town of Rhayader is 2.5 miles away with a variety of shops where you can buy all your essentials. There are numerous places in Rhayader for good home cooked food and local beer.

Elan Oaks Camping and Caravan Site offers peace and tranquility for those who feel the need to recharge their batteries from the hectic pace of life, but also provides lots to do for families with younger members.

Elan Oaks is of a very high standard including, three full bathrooms which have a toilet, shower and wash basin in each. Other facilities include a washing machine and tumble dryer.

All the hard standing pitches, which are open all the year round have - 16 Amp Electric, Personal water supply, Satelite & Freeview connection, Ethernet, WiFi, XL Pitch size with hard standing for 1 car.
