Churchwood Valley Holiday Cabins
Located in South Devon, Churchwood Valley is a lovely, natural wooded valley that runs down to the sea at Wembury Bay.
PEACE AND TRANQUILITY
Churchwood Valley does not have any discos, bars or cafes. A stay at the park is full of rock pools, wildlife and stunning scenery. The park is secluded but not totally isolated. They have their own on-site shop that sells a variety of food and drink, as well as beach toys, gifts and many other items. This means that you don’t even need to leave the site to purchase essential items. They also have their own fully-equipped laundrette.
SECLUSION AND PRIVACY
Every one of their holiday cabins has its own plot on the hillside, surrounded by trees, flowering shrubs, hedges and rustic fences. Each cabin features wonderful views across the valley. Some cabins even look out over the water meadow or towards the sea. Every cabin has a space to park your car next to it. Private roads and paths give guests access to the beach, which is an unspoiled stretch of rock pools and shingle with sand at low tide. The beach is less than a 10 minutes’ walk from any of the cabins. The site adjoins Natural Trust land.
AWAY FROM IT ALL
Churchwood Valley is the perfect site to get away from it all. You won’t even have to get out of your armchair to see wonderful displays of bird life. If you walk out onto your private patio, you might see badgers, foxes, squirrels and other wildlife. The site allows guests to bring up to 2 well-behaved dogs. For a small fee, you can have use of the dog exercise area.
SECLUDED TIMBER CABINS FOR HIRE
Each of their cabins is built to excellent standards. They have been carefully planned and decorated in order to ensure a maximum space and a minimum of cleaning. Their wood-clad exteriors have been designed to blend in with the natural surroundings. Guests can see great views out of the many large windows and the patio doors. Every cabin has its own private patio area with garden furniture. On request, the site can provide you with a barbecue. Churchwood Valley takes pride in their habitat, and they ask their guests to water the adjacent hanging baskets and shrubs outside each cabin.
