Whitestone Caravan Park is situated just outside the small village of Ayside and a short distance from the holiday resort of Grange-Over-Sands which overlooks Morecambe Bay and is just seven miles South of Lake Windermere.

The caravan park is set in peaceful woodland, surrounded by wild life with spectacular views of the Southern Lake District.

There are 85 holiday homes on the Park, set out in a random fashion (no rows!) All homes are privately owned (no subletting is allowed), and are sited on individual plots which all have full services of electricity, water and drainage. Plot sizes vary, but we endeavor to cater for 37' x 12' holiday homes where-ever possible.

Whitestone has all the expected amenities including modern shower/toilet facilities, parking besides accommodation and a public telephone.

The park is an excellent location to buy a holiday home situated close to rivers for those who enjoy fishing.

The local area offers a range of attractions including the World of Beatrix Potter, the National Park Centre, and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway to enjoy.

SEASONAL PITCHES:
For the 2010 season, our park fees are £1700 fully inclusive of local rates, VAT and the electric supply charges. Electric units are metered separately and charged retrospectively. The season runs from 1st March to 15th November inclusive.

CONNECTION CHARGES:
When a new holiday home is brought onto the Park, we charge a maximum one-off connection fee of £1250.00*

This includes the following:
• Full gas, water, electric and drainage connections
• Paved walkway to front of holiday home
• Wooden skirting to underneath of holiday home
• One set of metal access steps

DIRECTIONS:
From the North or South, leave the M6 at junction 36, on to the A590. Follow signs towards Newby Bridge and Barrow. The Park is on the right hand side of the road 1 mile beyond High Newton. Leave the A590 at the sign for Ayside, and turn immediately left under the main road. The Park entrance is straight in front of you.

If approaching from Bowness/Windermere or from the West, we are on the left hand side of the road 2 miles past Newby Bridge. Leave the A590 at the sign for High Newton/Ayside, and turn left. We are 150m down the hill on the right.
