Wheal Rose Camping and Caravan Park is a beautiful, level, 6 acre site in a secluded valley, set in central Cornwall, England.

Surrounded by Cornish lanes and with the Portreath Tramroad running parallel to the site, it is a haven for walkers and cyclists.

The camp is situated in an unspoilt low development area where there is lots of peace and quiet.

Situated just 2 miles from the lovely sandy beach of Porthtowan and 6 miles from the city of Truro.

There are 50 all-weather pitches (up to 11 metres), all with electric hook-up, plus 6 hard standings. In addition, there are 2 x 5-berth caravans and 1 x 6 berth static caravan for hire.

The site is run by the Reynolds family who live on site and they do their best to make it a welcome, clean and safe short or long holiday venue for you and your family.

The site is ideal for families. Traffic speed is restricted and there is an excellent children's playarea to keep the kids amused.

There is a small shop on site for those little things you need urgently.

The new purpose built toilet and shower block (right) is convenient from all pitches. Kept spotlessly clean. Hot showers are free and there are shaver points by each sink. Hair dryers are also available.

We welcome tents, caravans and motor caravans.

The site opens from 1st March to 31st December.
